About Chris and Emily
Chris is in the Air Force. Emily is a Tow-Truck driver.
He’s from California, and she’s from Louisiana.
The two met and fell in love – simple, right?
When it was coming time for her wedding, a month she was to get married, her original photographer ended up having to cancel on her!
As a result, she needed to find a photographer!
While that would stress most brides out, she was content, because one of her favorite things throughout the engagement was planning out the wedding!
As evident in the DIY details, which she put together!
Needless to say, she reached out to us to be her photographer.
There are many things that draw Chris and Emily together.
- Their love of their daughter, 3 dogs, and pet snake
- Enjoying nights by the firepit
- Eating Taco Bell or Botskies (fancy hot dogs)
- Their love for travel
- Chasing new endeavors (Watch out Texas – you’re about to have the newest and best towing service in town!)
Simply put, they’re made for each other.
The Wedding at Garvan Woodland Gardens Anthony Chapel
Chris and Emily’s wedding was on December 2, 2021.
This meant that Christmas lights were up around the gardens and in the chapel!
With 2021 being a particularly warm December in Arkansas, this led to the perfect golden hour ceremony, which was officiated by Emily’s own brother!
Crystal Ridge Distillery
The Reception
After the ceremony and beautiful wedding portrait session, we drove to Crystal Ridge Distillery, where their reception was being held.
To begin with describing the venue, it was decked out in beautiful golds, deep greens, and Christmas trees.
Thus this industrial wedding reception venue is perfect for any size wedding.
Due to its ability to add or remove walls, Crystal Ridge Distillery is able to accommodate small or large events – from weddings to corporate parties.
