My favorite weddings, hands down, are the ones that are filled with the best of emotions. I mean the kind of weddings where dad’s cry to see their daughters in their dresses, grooms tear up because of the anxiety of seeing their bride walk down the aisle, and guests cackle as the father of the bride gives the most epic toast ever!
What I’m saying is that Victoria and Brandin’s wedding was FLAWLESS!
RIVERWOOD MANSION
If you have never been to Riverwood Mansion, you are missing out on one of the most beautiful areas in East Nashville. And as it turns out, Brandin not only works here, but his mother owns the place! And it is one of the most remarkable mansions in the world!
But you know what makes a wedding day beautiful? Here’s a hint: it’s not just the venue.
It’s the excitement of the couple.
It’s always so amazing, no matter how excited a couple is during their engagement session, like for Victoria and Brandin (see their engagement session here), the excitement pales in comparison to what they feel on the wedding day.
I mean, after all of the planning, lining up the vendors for the day, and everything that goes on…this is the day it all culminates to!
A FEW MENTIONABLE MOMENTS
There is not a wedding in existence that does not have a memorable moment, and Victoria and Brandin’s wedding is no exception.
When Victoria’s father, Mike, anxiously waited under the canopy to see his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time, I swear you could hear his heart pounding.
The second he turned to see her, he was overcome with emotions.
He is a man that genuinely loves his children and is not ashamed to express his emotion for them.
And let’s just talk a moment about his EPIC toast where he celebrated each phase of Victoria’s life followed by a shot of something that looked incredibly strong…what a Marine!
Then there was Brandin’s anxiety as he waited under that same canopy to see his soon-to-be-bride.
You’d think as an event worker, he’d be used to these things, but it’s always totally different when it’s your own future forever!
I swear, there could never be a wider smile and laughter as they complimented each other!
And then there was a moment so quick but so sweet, when right after the ceremony, Victoria and her brother held each other in a strong embrace, tears in both of their eyes…
It’s funny how two siblings can be so opposite of each other, yet they love each other incredibly.
Perhaps it’s just a showing of God’s creativity, showing how things that are opposites are what bring the world together.
Victoria and Brandin, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day…it was absolutely amazing, and I’m so excited for you two as you go off into the journey as Husband and Wife.
May God bless you both!
