There are many beautiful wedding chapels in Arkansas – some traditional, and others that have become synonymous with the Natural State.
While each chapel offers different locations, styles, and scenic outlooks, there is one thing they have in common.
Each one is beautiful!
While there are many wedding chapels in Arkansas, these are a few of our favorites.

Glass Wedding Chapels in Arkansas
Something to note about glass chapels is that they are not very friendly for evening weddings. By this, I mean that dark, ambient rooms require the use of flash during a dark wedding.
In a glass chapel, this means that light will be reflected off of the glass.
This can ruin some of the atmospheres of a wedding in a glass chapel.
That said, from the middle of the day to the last bit of light flowing through these chapels, you will get some of the most beautiful, ambient lit photos from just about anywhere in Arkansas!
Thorncrown Chapel
Thorncrown Chapel, “Eureka Springs premiere wedding destination!”
Surrounded by trees and rock, Thorncrown Chapel is located on Highway 62 West just outside of Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
This specific glass chapel is ideal for smaller, intimate weddings, as it only hosts up to 100 guests.
With Eureka Springs being so close, there are a number of photo opportunities and locations, including Crescent Hotel and Inspiration Point Overlook, to name a few.
Mildred B. Cooper Chapel
This glass chapel in Arkansas is one of Bentonville’s most prominent locations.
Personally, Mildred B. Cooper Chapel is one of my favorite chapels in Northwest Arkansas. Architecturally, the curved beams and glass combined together truly make the chapel stand out amongst the pine trees surrounding the chapel.
Being located in Northwest Arkansas, during the winter months you have a high chance for a beautiful, snowy wedding that will turn your dream into a winter wonderland!
As far as additional locations for photographs, just down the hill and a 5-minute walk will take you to the lake and waterfalls that run alongside the chapel.
Anthony Chapel
Anthony Chapel in Hot Springs, Arkansas is one of the best not-so-secret glass chapels in Arkansas.
Nestled in the heart of Garvan Gardens, Anthony Chapel is a large glass chapel that will seat up to 160 guests, which is perfect for medium-sized wedding ceremonies.
What I love about this Chapel is that it is positioned perfectly so that the light will come through on the left side of the chapel in the later parts of the day. This offers an opportunity for beautifully lit photographs that highlight the bride as, if going by tradition, she walks down the left side of the aisle if guided by her father or someone close to her.
With Anthony Chapel inside of the gardens, this makes for spectacular photo opportunities with near-endless locations within a short walking distance.
From the bridge by the chapel, the rock wall across the bridge, or the trails that lead throughout Garvan Gardens, this is the perfect spot for Central Arkansas brides or brides wanting to visit Hot Springs.
Hunt Chapel
Compared to the other glass chapels listed here, Hunt Chapel is unique in the sense that it is not an entire glass chapel. Heavily structured by stone, what makes this chapel qualify as a glass chapel is its interior.
This chapel easily hosts up to 135 guests, which makes it easy to host a smaller, intimate wedding.
Hunt Chapel is located in the Pinnacle Memorial Gardens, which opens the opportunity for scenic locations around the property.
Since it is located between Rogers and Bentonville, there are many venue locations for receptions nearby.
Some of these venues include the Ballroom at I Street and Crystal Bridges Museum.
Standard Chapels in Arkansas
The Chapel at Dragonfly Farms
The Chapel at Dragonfly Farms is a rustic chapel in Dover Arkansas. In addition to its cozy, chapel, the property has a beautiful field.
The dark-lit atmosphere of the chapel emphasizes the significance of the aisle as the focal point for photographing your vows. The ambient low-light setting provides a romantic feel, resulting in charming, atmospheric down-the-aisle photos of the ceremony.
Once outside, you have wider options – from photos by the pavilion or in front of the signature red door of the chapel.
Sassafras Springs The Chapel Ruins
Inspired by old, European chapels, The Chapel Ruins at Sassafras Springs is a great venue for large parties.
With the ability to host over 300 guests, great weddings can be held here.
Nearby are the vineyards and the Stables, which make for large areas for outdoor weddings.
St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable
This stone chapel, located at the foot of the Ozark Mountains, could easily be mistaken for a venue out in England.
Originally inspired by a church in England, the stained glass windows will wow guests and wedding parties.
One of the amenities that make St. Catherine’s a unique venue is its customizability.
Couples can expect to book the chapel at $700 an hour.
Cold Springs Events
The Chapel at Cold Springs is a beautiful, white interior chapel that is perfect for weddings.
Clearly designed with photography in mind, this wedding chapel in Arkansas is located in Paron, Arkansas.
One of the highlights of this chapel is the size of the windows. While not a glass chapel, the lighting let it by these windows guarantee beautiful photos.
